Privacy Policy
Lemon Cube Studio (“we”) operates the mobile puzzle game Neon Cat Road (“the Game”). This policy explains what information is collected through the Game, how it is used, and how you can control it. This policy covers Neon Cat Road only; our other games have their own policies.
1. What we do not collect
The Game has no accounts and no sign-in. You cannot register, and we never ask for or store any of the following:
- Name, email address, date of birth, gender, address, or phone number
- Government-issued identifiers
- Contacts, photos, call logs, or text messages stored on your device
- Precise (GPS) location
- Payment credentials such as card numbers — the one purchase in the Game is handled entirely by Google Play, and we never see your card details (Section 3)
We operate no game server for Neon Cat Road. The Game never sends your progress, a player name, or any identifier we created to us.
2. Where your game progress is stored
Your progress — cleared stages, stars, rainbow items, settings, and whether you bought “Remove ads” — is stored only on your device. There is no cloud save or online backup. The Game keeps a local backup copy of the save file to recover from an interrupted write, but that copy also stays on the device.
Progress is lost for good if you uninstall the Game or switch devices. We cannot restore data that was never stored anywhere but your device. The “Remove ads” purchase is the one exception: it is recorded by Google Play and is restored automatically when the Game starts on a device signed in to the same Google Play account.
3. Third-party services
The Game uses the third-party services listed below to measure how it is played, to deliver advertising, and to process the “Remove ads” purchase. Each provider collects the data described automatically through its software inside the Game; we only view it in aggregated, non-identifying form.
| Service | Provider | Data collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics | Google LLC | App instance ID, device model, OS version, language, approximate (IP-derived, country-level) location, and in-app events: stage start and end (with the stage name, moves, time spent, stars, and the result), rainbow item use, and ad request, display, failure and reward events | Understanding where players stop, tuning stage difficulty, measuring ad usage |
| Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) with Google AdMob mediation | Unity Technologies, Google LLC | Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device information, ad impression, click and completion records | Serving interstitial and rewarded ads and measuring ad performance |
| Unity IAP / Google Play Billing | Unity Technologies, Google LLC | Product ID, transaction identifier, purchase token and ownership state | Processing the “Remove ads” purchase and restoring it on reinstall |
About advertising
The Game shows interstitial ads when a stage ends and rewarded ads that play only when you tap a button to watch one in exchange for a rainbow item. Buying “Remove ads” stops interstitial ads permanently; rewarded ads remain available on request. Ad providers may use your advertising identifier to select ads; you can limit this in your device settings (Section 4).
4. Your choices
- Advertising identifier: reset or delete it, and opt out of ad personalization, under Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. Ads keep showing, but they are no longer selected using that identifier.
- Interstitial ads: buy “Remove ads” in the Game.
- Analytics: analytics runs while the Game is running. The Game does not yet have an in-app switch for it; to stop it, uninstall the Game.
- Everything on the device: uninstalling the Game deletes all game data stored on the device.
5. Retention
- On-device game data: deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear its storage from your device's app settings.
- Firebase analytics data: retained for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically under Google’s retention policy.
- Advertising data: retained by each ad provider under its own policy (linked in Section 6).
- Purchase records: retained by Google Play for the period required by applicable law, and for as long as needed to restore the purchase.
6. Sharing and international transfer
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed in Section 3. Because those providers operate globally, data may be transferred to and processed outside your country, as follows.
| Recipient | Destination | Data and timing | Purpose and retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | United States and other countries hosting Google data centers | The Firebase Analytics, AdMob and Google Play Billing data listed in Section 3 / transmitted while the app is running, on ad requests and on purchase | Analytics, ad delivery and purchase processing / retention per Section 5 |
| Unity Technologies | United States and other countries hosting Unity data centers | The advertising and purchase data listed in Section 3 / transmitted on ad requests and purchases | Ad delivery and purchase processing / per Unity’s policy |
See the Google Privacy Policy and the Unity Privacy Policy.
7. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or under 14 where Korean law applies), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have done so, we delete it without delay. Parents and guardians may contact us at the address below to request deletion.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Because we hold no account and no server-side record about you, most requests are fulfilled immediately by resetting your advertising identifier and uninstalling the Game. Requests about data held by Google or Unity can be made to them directly through the policies linked in Section 6. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 10 days.
